Our People

Importance of Compatibility

Our care staff members provide one-to-one service and undivided attention to their patients for a minimum of two hours a day. Spending so much time in close contact makes it especially important that you get along with your caregiver.

That’s why Supreme Home Health Services looks at much more than your care needs. When you first call us, a patient services representative will ask you a series of questions that will help us to understand a potential patient’s physical, emotional and mental needs. When your nurse does her initial assessment and creates your customized plan of care, she will take note of personal preferences and interests, emotional needs, and the effects that aging or illness might have on behavior or mood.

All of this information allows us to match you or your loved one with a highly trained, Certified Home Health Aide or Companion who might share those interests. Our care staff members respect your particular needs and desire to maintain quality of life, whether that means regular walks in the park, afternoon tea, reading the newspaper, or discussing current events.

In addition, all of our care staff members are culturally competent, and many are bilingual. If you or your loved one is more comfortable speaking a language other than English, we will do our best to accommodate your preference.

Quality Professionals

Finding a caregiver isn’t something most of us plan for. Then something happens and you realize you need help now. Supreme Home Health Services can provide you with home care services, often within 24 hours from your first call. Our caregivers are insured and certified, and all have the training, supervision, and screening you or your loved one needs to be safe at home.

Education

Every Supreme Home Health Services Certified Home Health Aide and Companion completes an extensive Orientation program, plus mandatory education throughout the year. Our educational programming exceeds the guidelines established by the New Jersey State regulatory and accrediting bodies. We provide our aides with more training that the mandatory twelve hours, and include our Companions in all classes. Why? Because we have found that the most caring staff members are those with more classroom preparation.

Supervision

Each Certified Home Health Aide and Companion works closely with your dedicated RN Supervisor and has access to the resources necessary to ensure that you or your loved one receives competent, professional care.

Our staff members can recognize changes in physical or emotional status, behavior, care or safety needs, or other conditions that warrant a nurse’s attention. Even very subtle changes are often caught early enough to keep you or your loved one out of the hospital.

Screening

Every Supreme Home Health Services staff member must pass comprehensive background checks on state and federal levels, as well as health checks and reference checks.

We understand your concerns, and we guarantee your satisfaction. If you are not happy with your assigned care staff member, our supervisors can work with you in order to resolve any issues or we will match you with someone new.
